Cristina Rodriguez´s Commissioned Paintings
Since 1994, the Latin American artist Cristina Rodriguez has been creating commissioned paintings for art collectors. Each commission is a unique and deeply personal piece, born to capture her client’s vision through her distinctive artistic style.
Due to the preparation of her solo exhibitions in 2027, 2029, 2030 and 2031, Cristina Rodriguez is not undertaking any commissioned paintings.

“I live on an island in the middle of the Ocean. Living here has made me realize how vulnerable and unimportant I truly am. When my body dies, there will be no trace of me in the history of Nature. I am the only person who can give value to my years on the Earth, who can give a purpose to my existence. I’m so grateful that I have had the strength of spirit to continue to paint about the beauty, the joy and the love that surrounds me. I´m so grateful that my strength of spirit has kept me a human being, fighting for all that I believe a human being should be. I have made my life valuable, even though I know that Nothingness lies at the end of it. It comes as a great comfort to know that I leave traces of love and no traces of destruction behind me. It means nothing to the Earth, but it does mean everything to me.”
