“In 2014, I was invited to exhibit at Deimos Arte, a beautiful, intimate gallery in Bogotá, whose owner I admire and respect tremendously. This was my first exhibition in Colombia since I left to the UK in 1989. All the paintings were based on my many extraordinary experiences of people, places, books, concerts, Mediterranean islands, travels around Britain, France, Latin America, and, as ever, on the small, wonderful miracles of daily life.”
